Man shows up at hospital with gunshot wound as Southern District detectives investigate
Baltimore, MD – A 26-year-old man arrived at a local hospital Saturday afternoon with a gunshot wound to the hip, prompting an investigation by Southern District shooting detectives after the location of the incident could not be immediately determined.
Hospital staff alerted police around 4:35 p.m. on November 29 when the victim arrived seeking treatment. Officers responded and confirmed the man had sustained a gunshot wound. His injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to investigators.
As of Monday, it remains unclear where the shooting occurred, and police are continuing to gather information to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
