Health Expert Chris Christie Critiques RFK's Job Making America Healthy Again

Washington, DC – Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie blasted Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the Biden administration this week, accusing Kennedy of spreading dangerous misinformation and criticizing his leadership in public health.

“Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a foolish man, full of foolish and vapid ideas. And that was on display again this week in front of Congress,” Christie said, attacking Kennedy’s decades of vaccine skepticism.

Christie took direct aim at Kennedy’s appointment to a top federal health position, calling him “wholly unqualified” and claiming the move jeopardizes public trust.

“This wholly unqualified man [is] in charge of 25% of all government spending… the president’s smart enough to know, RFK Jr. doesn’t belong in that job,” Christie said.

He accused President Trump of appointing Kennedy as a show of political defiance.

“After he won, he wanted to show everybody, ‘I can do whatever I want to do because this Senate will be compliant no matter what I do. And I’ll put the greatest vaccine and public health denier of the last 20 years in charge of public health in America.’ It’s a human middle finger to everybody who opposed him.”

Christie, who has positioned himself as a strong defender of science-based public health policy, has previously sparred with Kennedy over vaccines. His latest remarks underscore the ongoing political fight over public health leadership in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
