Temperature-Thermometer

A heat advisory is in effect from 10 AM today until 8 PM Tuesday for Morris, Sussex, Warren, and Hunterdon Counties in New Jersey, and Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Upper Bucks, Western Chester, and Western Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania. Heat index values are expected to reach up to 104 degrees. Peak heat indices on Wednesday could exceed 100 degrees, possibly extending the advisory. Residents are advised to stay hydrated, remain in air-conditioned environments, avoid the sun, and check on vulnerable individuals. Limit strenuous outdoor activities to early morning or evening. Be vigilant for signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
