  • The Chocolate Tour Ride debuts its largest holiday upgrade in nearly a decade
  • Seasonal treats, events, and Santa visits return beginning November 17

The enhanced Chocolate Tour Ride now features more than 2,000 lights, a seasonal soundtrack, and 11 animatronic elves modeled after characters from Hershey’s classic holiday history. Eight scenes were redesigned with new mechanical elements and updated visuals intended to create a more immersive experience for guests throughout the season.

Laura Renaud, senior marketing manager at The Hershey Company, said the refreshed ride anchors the attraction’s expanded holiday programming and supports growing interest in bundled experiences tied to seasonal events.

The Holiday Savings Bundle, valued at more than twice its cost, covers visits from November 24 through January 4 and includes multiple attractions inside Chocolate World alongside the bakery credit and complimentary parking. The package is positioned to streamline family visits as holiday crowds increase.

Exclusive sweets accompany the seasonal rollout, including Hershey’s Toffee Truffles available in-store and online, along with the limited-time Toffee Truffle Milkshake that combines chocolate ice cream, caramel topping, whipped cream, and toffee bits.

Beginning November 17, guests can meet Santa inside Chocolate World during scheduled photo sessions and activities. The annual Holiday Chocolate House also returns, displaying a structure decorated with Hershey’s candies and offering specialty items available only at the attraction.

Additional menu items featured this season include truffles in multiple flavors, Snickerdoodle-themed desserts, hot chocolate variations, and peppermint-inspired beverages served exclusively at designated locations within the attraction.

Hershey’s Chocolate World continues to operate alongside Hersheypark’s seasonal programming, with updates on hours, events, and offerings available through the attraction’s website and social channels.
