NORTH CAPE MAY, NJ – Living in North Cape May just got sweeter with the opening of Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard at 3860 Bayshore Road. The beloved brand, renowned for its delicious Italian Ice and Frozen Custard treats, announced its new location today, July 31.

Rita’s was founded in May 1984 by Philadelphia firefighter Bob Tumolo. Tumolo created his prized family recipe to include real fruit and opened the first Rita’s shop in Bensalem, PA. Today,
