Emails show Hilton hotel canceled DHS-related reservations in Minnesota
An email shared by DHS today shows that staff at a Hilton-branded property in Lakeville, Minnesota, canceled hotel reservations connected to Department of Homeland Security personnel, explicitly refusing accommodations to immigration agents.

When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations.

According to the forwarded messages, a Hilton employee wrote that “we are not allowing any ICE or immigration agents to stay at our property.”
The correspondence referenced an “influx of government reservations made today that have been for DHS” and instructed the recipient to notify coworkers that “we are not allowing any immigration agents to house on our property.”
A follow-up message sent later that day stated, “After further investigation online, we have found information about immigration work connected with your name and we will be cancelling your upcoming reservation.”
The sender added that a formal cancellation notice would arrive “shortly from Hilton.”
The emails, allegedly sent from official Hilton domain addresses, circulated online over the weekend and quickly drew criticism from federal law enforcement supporters, who described the move as discriminatory and politically motivated.
The messages reference the Hampton Inn Lakeville property, which operates under the Hilton brand. As of Monday, there has been no public statement from Hilton Hotels, the Lakeville property, or the Department of Homeland Security addressing the authenticity or context of the emails.
Screenshots of the exchange show the messages were written on January 2, 2026, and involved at least two employees using Hilton-associated email accounts and one third-party hotel management address.
