Dark sedan sought in Oak Road hit and run
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run incident after a dark-colored sedan struck a parked vehicle Wednesday night and fled the scene without stopping.
Sergeant E. T. Osborn responded to the area of Oak Road at approximately 8:45 p.m. on January 21 after receiving a report from a resident whose vehicle had been hit while parked.
The victim told deputies the suspect vehicle continued down Oak Road without stopping after the collision. No injuries were reported, and the parked vehicle sustained visible damage.
Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. Investigators are asking anyone with surveillance footage or information related to the incident to contact the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
The case remains under investigation.
