Justin Hulse scored three goals Friday as the Brick Memorial High School hockey team skated to a 3-3 tie with Toms River North.
Griffin DuBlois had two assists and Matt McDermitt and Robert Swartwout had one each for the Mustangs. Goalie Andrew Slobiski made 43 saves for Brick Memorial.
Shea Bontempo, Jeffrey Fischer and Matthew Heagan had goals for the Mariners. Eamon Bontempo and Brett Schneider had one assist each and Ryan Dowds stopped 35 of the 38 shots he faced in net for Toms River North.
