FAIRVIEW, NC – Authorities have closed Noble Road in Fairview as the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office conducts an active investigation.
Officials say the closure began Thursday afternoon and is expected to last until further notice.
Sheriff Quentin Miller assured residents there is no current threat to the community.
Road closed as deputies investigate
The Sheriff’s Office announced the investigation on its official Facebook page, asking drivers to avoid Noble Road and find alternate routes while deputies work at the scene. Details on the nature of the investigation have not been released.
