Island Heights Shuts Down All Public Access Areas, Including Beach and Boardwalk

All residents, guests and visitors of Island Heights. Island Heights Mayor and Council announced today effective immediately, all public access areas to include parks, beaches, docks, playgrounds, pavilion, and boardwalk, are closed until further notice. Also, all on-street parking on River Avenue is prohibited, except for authorized vehicles.

These measures are to further protect our residents and public employees. To reinforce this order, signs will be posted advising the public that the above mentioned areas are closed.

We appreciate your cooperation during this unprecedented event, and want to remind everyone that the way to conquer this common threat is to act together.
