JACKSON, NJ – The Jackson Township Council would like to remind the public of its hours for the ongoing “Meet the Council” sessions and “Council Hours,” which provide residents with additional opportunities to engage directly with their elected officials.

These sessions are designed to strengthen communication between residents and local leadership by providing residents with an opportunity to share their concerns, ideas, and feedback directly with council members.

Each council member has their own dedicated “Council Hours” at Town Hall, allowing residents to schedule one-on-one meetings. A full schedule of available times is published on the township website.

Council Office Hours

  • Council President Burnstein: Mondays, 4:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
  • Council Vice President Palmeri: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. before any Council Meeting.
  • Councilman Bressi: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. before any Council Meeting.

You can also schedule meetings with council members by emailing them directly.

Please note this schedule is current as of 12/8/2025. Please visit the Jackson Township Council website to see the most current hours.

The “Meet the Council” sessions will take place in the Town Hall main meeting room and will feature two council members at each event. These sessions will provide a casual, small-group setting for open discussion about current township issues, projects, and community initiatives.

“Meetings will be held regularly throughout the year to foster ongoing dialogue beyond formal council meetings,” said Council President Mordechai Burnstein. “These will be open, public meet-and-greet events. Residents can bring up any topic—parks, policing, housing, development, or even the rumors that often circulate on social media. The agenda will be set by the people, not the council.”

“For nearly two months, the Jackson Township Council has been hosting “Meet the Council” hours—an opportunity for residents to meet one-on-one with their Council members for open discussion on any topic. We truly value hearing directly from you and encourage everyone to take advantage of this chance to share thoughts, ask questions, and connect with your local government,” said Council Vice President Giuseppe Palmeri.
