Jackson, NJ – Jackson Township is gearing up for one of its biggest community celebrations of the year as Jackson Day returns on Sunday, September 14, at Johnson Memorial Park, 192 Kierych Memorial Drive. Festivities run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with the National Weather Service calling for mostly sunny skies and a high near 77.
The daylong event will feature a packed schedule of attractions and entertainment for all ages. Highlights include:
- A wide variety of food vendors
- Rides and games for children and families
- Live performances from The Black Ties Band and The Suyat Band
- A lively beer garden
- A dazzling drone show
- A dramatic helicopter landing
- Stunt appearances by professional ATV racer Nick Gennusa of Facility 15
- Empire State Monster Truck rides
- A special display featuring a Kingda Ka car from Six Flags Great Adventure’s historic ride

“Jackson Day is a time for neighbors, families, and friends to come together and celebrate everything that makes our township a special place to live and visit,” township officials said in announcing the event.
A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, September 21.
The township expressed gratitude to sponsors, including Six Flags, Optimum, Walter Earle, and the Driving Academy, for helping make the celebration possible.
