Jackson Township Senior Center Delivers Thanksgiving Meals to Vulnerable Seniors with Support from Community Partners
Jackson Township Mayor Jennifer L. Kuhn and the Township Council are pleased to share that the Jackson Township Senior Center hosted a Thanksgiving dinner delivery event, delivering warm holiday meals and essential food supplies to some of the community’s most vulnerable senior residents.
Senior Center staff packaged and delivered fully catered turkey dinners, ensuring that homebound and at-risk seniors could enjoy a festive and comforting Thanksgiving meal.
Each delivery also included a bag of non-perishable food items, generously donated by the Senior Center’s dedicated community partners.

A special flyer was placed in every bag, acknowledging the sponsors whose generosity made this effort possible. Jackson Township extends deep appreciation to the following organizations for their compassion and support:
- Brandywine
- Bold Age Pace
- Homewatch Caregivers
- Brookdale Senior Living
- Marquis Health
- The Jewish Home
- Bartley Healthcare
- Harmony Village
- Wedgwood Gardens
- The Orchards
- Senior Care Authority
- AOSMI
Mayor Kuhn and the Township Council commend the Senior Center staff for their continued commitment to serving the elderly community with care, especially during the holiday season. Their efforts ensure that no senior in Jackson is forgotten or overlooked.
The Senior Center staff also expressed their gratitude to Township leadership for the thoughtful decision to provide staff with Friday off for the holiday weekend. This gesture, they shared, allows team members additional time to be with their own family after caring for others’ families all year long.

“Acts of kindness like this—both in giving and receiving—are what make Jackson Township a true community,” Mayor Kuhn said. “We are proud of our Senior Center team and grateful to our partners for helping bring food, community caring, and comfort to our seniors this Thanksgiving.”
