Two men arrested after stabbing in Northeast DC fight

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A late-night dispute between two men turned violent Saturday when one pulled a knife and stabbed the other during a fight in Northeast, police said.

The altercation happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 800 block of 10th Street NE. Responding officers found one man suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Charges filed against both suspects

Police said both men were taken into custody after the incident. Leon Clark Jr., 51, was charged with Assault With a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Kenyon Davis, 38, was charged with Threats to Kidnap or Injure and Simple Assault.

Investigation ongoing

Detectives believe the stabbing followed a verbal argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. Officers recovered evidence at the scene, and the case remains under investigation.
