Man shot and killed on W. North Avenue in late-night Baltimore homicide
Baltimore, MD – A 33-year-old man was found shot late Friday night on W. North Avenue and later died at the hospital, prompting a homicide investigation in the city’s Northwest District.
Just after 11 p.m. on November 7, officers responded to a “check the well-being” call in the 3100 block of W. North Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical responders transported him to a nearby hospital, but despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released pending family notification.
Homicide detectives have taken over the case and are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Police have not provided details regarding a possible motive or suspect, and no arrests have been made as of Saturday afternoon.
