Late-night gunfire leaves one dead in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD — A man was fatally shot late Wednesday night in the 2700 block of Pelham Avenue, police said.

Eastern District officers arrived at the scene around 11:17 p.m. and found a 37-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers provided aid, but the victim was pronounced dead by medics on the scene.
