Man stabbed on Wheeler Road as DC police launch investigation
WASHINGTON, DC – A man was stabbed in Southeast Washington shortly before 10 p.m. Friday, prompting a police investigation in the 3500 block of Wheeler Road SE, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim conscious and breathing with stab wounds. He was treated on scene before being transported to an area hospital. His current condition has not been released.
The incident took place within MPD’s 7th District (PSAs 701–708). Investigators have not released a suspect description, and no arrests have been made. Officials have also not indicated a motive or whether the victim and suspect knew each other.
