Loaded Gun Recovered at Prince George’s County High School

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – On Thursday, Prince George’s County Police Department was alerted of a serious violation on the premises of Non-Traditional Program 9-12 South school.

A ninth-grade male student was found in possession of a loaded gun that slipped from his waistband in the gymnasium.

The 17-year-old student, now in custody, is facing charges of carrying a handgun, possessing a dangerous weapon on school property, possession of a firearm by a minor, and carrying a loaded handgun.
