MINEOLA, N.Y. – Nassau County District Attorney Anne T. Donnelly announced the indictment of John Cipolla, a 50-year-old from Long Island City, on charges related to two separate commercial thefts totaling over $500,000.

The charges include Grand Larceny, Burglary, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, and others.

Cipolla allegedly stole electronics worth $285,000 from ADI Global Distribution in Plainview on July 31, 2022, and, in a separate incident, $250,000 in quarters with co-defendant Jose De La Cruz.

Cipolla pleaded not guilty, with bail set at various high amounts. He faces a potential life sentence if convicted.
