BALTIMORE, MD – A FAST PLAY Big Money Doubler ticket sold in Rockville delivered more than $128,000 last week, marking the Maryland Lottery’s biggest prize of the week.
It was the second consecutive week a FAST PLAY progressive jackpot topped all other wins.
A Double Your Money scratch-off ticket sold in Baltimore City also claimed a $100,000 top prize.
Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot continued to climb, reaching an estimated $600 million annuity value as of this week, with a $277.2 million cash option.
Dozens of players take home big prizes
According to the Maryland Lottery, a player in Towson won $20,000 in the Oct. 10 Mega Millions drawing, one of 29 tickets worth $10,000 or more sold between Oct. 6 and Oct. 12. In total, more than $29 million in prizes were paid across all games during the week.
The $100,000 scratch-off winner purchased their ticket at Harford Citgo on Harford Road in Baltimore. Other notable $50,000 winners played JURASSIC PARK in Bethesda and Hampstead, MONOPOLY X100 in Rosedale, and Break the Bank in Brooklyn Park.
Prize claim reminders from lottery officials
The Maryland Lottery urged winners to sign their tickets immediately and keep them in a safe place. Draw game and FAST PLAY tickets expire 182 days after their date of issue, while scratch-off expiration dates are listed at mdlottery.com.
Players who win more than $25,000 must redeem their tickets at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center in Baltimore by appointment. Prizes up to $25,000 can be claimed at any of the state’s six casinos, and winnings of up to $5,000 can be collected at more than 400 XCAP locations.
Luck stretches statewide
This week’s winning tickets were sold in cities across Maryland, from Silver Spring to Berlin, underscoring the widespread reach of the state’s lottery games.
For Maryland players, one spin, scratch, or draw could still make the next week’s list of lucky winners.
