Loud explosion shakes Middletown Neighborhood, dogs rescued from home

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — An explosion and fire rocked the Snowball Gate development on Saturday, prompting a flood of 911 calls, according to the Middletown Township Police Department. The incident occurred on Silver Spruce Road, where authorities located the source of the explosion.

The residents were not home at the time of the explosion, but three dogs were safely rescued from the property. Firefighters and police remain on the scene as investigations continue.

Officials have not released further details, and residents are advised to avoid the area while the investigation is underway.
