Man accused of murder after shocking home invasion

Converse, TX – A 23-year-old man is accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend in a brutal incident. Shiateek De-Shean Wilson was charged with one count of murder for the death of 35-year-old Noel Denzel Miller.

Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the early morning hours on Sunday. They found Miller on a bed suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead on the scene.

The woman, who has not been identified, stated that she and Miller returned home around 2 a.m. Shortly after they arrived, she went to shower while Miller retrieved laundry.

She was startled by gunfire and fled to the bedroom, where she found Miller injured. In the doorway, she saw Wilson with a handgun, who allegedly said something about the woman “playing games with him.”

Wilson fled the scene after throwing her cellphone back upstairs with instructions not to tell on him. The woman believed he went to a friend’s house nearby, where authorities later found and apprehended him.

During an interview with detectives, Wilson admitted to shooting Miller but claimed it was an act of self-defense. He alleged that Miller pointed a gun at him during the confrontation.

Wilson stated he arrived at his ex-girlfriend’s home at 1 a.m. intending to surprise her with flowers, money, and cocaine. After hiding in the closet, he claimed he attempted to escape when he was seen by Miller.

Investigators reported finding multiple cartridge casings and bullet holes in the home. Wilson is currently held in the Bexar County Jail with a bond set at $300,000. His next court date is undetermined.
