Boy injured man fighting for life after Friday night shooting
PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD — A man is in critical condition and a boy is recovering from injuries after a shooting Friday night in a residential neighborhood of Prince George’s County, prompting an ongoing police investigation.
Officers with the Prince George’s County Police Department responded to reports of gunfire around the 3200 block of Cherry Mill Drive. Upon arrival, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
A second victim, a juvenile male, was also located at the scene. Police said the boy sustained an “undetermined superficial injury” and was taken to a hospital for further evaluation.
