Man dies after being shot in Baltimore residential block

BALTIMORE, MD — A man shot on a residential block in East Baltimore Saturday afternoon has died, prompting a homicide investigation by city detectives.

The shooting was reported around 3:41 p.m. on the 400 block of Heaver Street. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from what medics described as a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His identity has not yet been released.

No arrests have been announced, and police have not shared details about a potential suspect or motive. The investigation remains active.
