Baltimore, MD – A late-night shooting in Southern Baltimore last night resulted in the death of an unidentified male, triggering a homicide investigation by local authorities.

At about 10:27 p.m., responding officers discovered the victim with several life-threatening gunshot wounds on the 800 block of Bethune Road. Despite immediate medical attention and transport to a nearby hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead.

Homicide detectives have taken charge of the case, seeking to uncover the circumstances surrounding the shooting. The Baltimore Police Department is appealing to the public for any information that may assist in the investigation.
