Man shot inside car outside 14th Street gas station dies days later
Washington, DC – A 22-year-old man who was found shot inside a vehicle outside a Northwest gas station Friday afternoon has died, prompting a homicide investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers responded Friday at approximately 2:15 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 2600 block of 14th Street Northwest. When they arrived, they located a man inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.
DC Fire and EMS transported the victim to a local hospital. Despite life saving efforts, he was pronounced dead.
Police identified the victim as Nehemia Jamaane Williams, 22, of Northwest, D.C.
Investigators have not released information about a suspect or a possible motive in the shooting. The case remains under investigation.
