Man hit in early morning gunfire on Eagle Street

BALTIMORE, Md. — A 31-year-old man was shot and injured in the early morning hours of Tuesday in Southwest Baltimore, police said.

At approximately 1:07 a.m. on June 17, Southwest District officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 1100 block of Eagle Street. Upon arrival, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was transported to an area hospital where he is currently listed in stable condition, according to the Baltimore Police Department.

Investigators have not disclosed any suspect information or potential motive in the case.
