Man hospitalized after Forest Hills shooting, investigation underway

FOREST HILLS, Pa. — Allegheny County police are investigating a shooting that left an adult male critically injured Sunday evening in the 100 block of Marion Avenue.

The incident was reported to County 9-1-1 at 6:43 p.m. First responders arrived to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in stable but critical condition.

The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and is working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
