CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries following a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Chesapeake, according to police.

Officers responded to the 2200 block of Farmer Lane at approximately 1:07 p.m. after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released information about a potential suspect or motive.

The Chesapeake Police Department continues to investigate the incident and is urging anyone with information to contact the Crime Line or submit tips anonymously through the P3TIPS platform.
