Police are searching for three suspects after a violent assault left a man robbed of his jewelry in Astoria.
QUEENS, NY — A man was punched, kicked and robbed of his jewelry during a violent attack in Astoria, and New York City police are asking for the public’s help identifying the three suspects.
According to the NYPD, the robbery occurred at about 6:09 p.m. on July 15 inside 30-14 31st Street within the confines of the 114th Precinct.
Police said a 33-year-old man was approached by three unidentified individuals before a dispute broke out.
During the confrontation, investigators say the suspects repeatedly punched and kicked the victim.
According to police, one suspect forcibly removed a necklace from the victim’s neck while another took his bracelet before the group fled.
The NYPD has released information about the incident and is asking anyone who recognizes the suspects or has information about the robbery to contact Crime Stoppers.
