Man shot and killed behind Queens building, investigation underway

Queens, NY – A 29-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday night in the rear of a building on Guy R. Brewer Boulevard, police said.

The shooting was reported around 8:30 p.m. at 134-29 Guy R. Brewer Boulevard, within the 113th Precinct. Responding officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the neck and shoulder.

EMS rushed the man to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. His identity has not yet been released, pending notification of family.

Detectives said no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
