PENN HILLS, Pa. — A man was shot and killed Monday evening during an argument at a business near the intersection of Frankstown Road and Duff Road, according to Allegheny County Police.

County 9-1-1 received a call about the incident at 6:11 p.m. First responders arrived at the 11000 block of Frankstown Road and found an adult male with gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Allegheny County’s Homicide Unit responded to assist Penn Hills police and is leading the investigation. Detectives remained on scene Monday night gathering evidence.

Preliminary details indicate that the man arrived at the business and became involved in a dispute with the owners, which escalated into a shooting.
