PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man was shot and killed inside a West Philadelphia residence early Saturday morning, marking the latest deadly incident under investigation by the city’s Homicide Unit.
Officers from the 12th District responded to the 1100 block of South 54th Street around 5:21 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire inside a home.
Police found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound and rushed him to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 7:44 a.m.
