Man shot in the leg during daytime attack in Brownsville, fugitive gunman on the loose

Brooklyn, NY – A 24-year-old man was shot in the leg Monday afternoon at a busy Brownsville intersection, authorities said.

The gunfire erupted around 3 p.m. near Saratoga Avenue and Livonia Avenue, where the victim was standing when an unidentified suspect opened fire.

Police said the shooter struck the man in the right thigh before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
