Man gunned down in broad daylight on 5th Street in deadly Baltimore shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – A 35-year-old man is dead after being shot multiple times in the middle of the afternoon Tuesday in Baltimore’s Southern District, as homicide detectives launch an investigation into the deadly daylight gunfire.

At approximately 3:27 p.m. on September 30, officers responded to the 3700 block of 5th Street after receiving reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead by medical staff. His identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

No suspects have been publicly identified, and police have not released details on a possible motive.
