Man killed in late-night shooting on Belair Road in Northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MD – A 34-year-old man is dead after being gunned down late Wednesday night on Belair Road, marking another fatal shooting under investigation in Baltimore’s Northeast District.

At approximately 11:37 p.m. on December 3, patrol officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 5900 block of Belair Road. Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His identity has not been released, pending family notification.

Homicide detectives have assumed the investigation and are working to determine a motive and identify any suspects. No arrests have been announced, and police have not said whether the shooting was targeted.
