Man Shot Multiple Times Dead In DeLand

DELAND, FL – The Volusia Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a DeLand man on Saturday night. Detectives are calling for potential witnesses to come forward with any relevant information.

Deputies were dispatched to 808 S. Massachusetts Ave., DeLand, following a 911 call around 10:45 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, they found the victim, 50-year-old Hector Hernandez Pasquale, unconscious in the front yard of the residence. It was confirmed that Pasquale had suffered gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Currently, no suspects are in custody, and detectives are diligently pursuing leads in the case. The Volusia Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information about this incident to contact them at 386-248-1777.
