Man slammed in face with carton of eggs during Bronx bus dispute

BRONX, N.Y. – A 53-year-old man was hospitalized Monday afternoon after being struck in the face with a carton of eggs during an argument aboard an MTA bus in the South Bronx, police said.

The incident unfolded around 2:50 p.m. on a northbound BX15 bus in front of 3250 Third Avenue.

The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
