BRONX, NY – A 26-year-old man was hospitalized after being stabbed and beaten by a group of four during a violent confrontation outside a Bartow Avenue storefront Saturday evening, police said.
The assault happened around 6:35 p.m. in front of 2138 Bartow Avenue following a verbal dispute between the victim and the group.


The suspects fled on foot after the attack and remain at large.

Dispute escalates into stabbing

Victim recovering at Jacobi Hospital
Emergency medical crews arrived minutes after the assault and transported the 26-year-old to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was treated for stab wounds and other injuries. Authorities said he was listed in stable condition.


Police seek four suspects
