Manhattan Grocery Store Robbed at Gunpoint, $5,000 Taken

NEW YORK CITY - NYPD police cars.

NEW YORK, NY – Suspects entered a Manhattan bodega on Saturday, produced a gun and robbed the Axel Grocery Store on 174 East 118th Street. The armed robbery took place at 12:35 am. They took off with $900 in cash from the register and $5,000 in cash from the victim.
