Bowie player hits $147K FAST PLAY jackpot as Home Run Riches season wraps
BOWIE, MD – A Maryland Lottery player knocked it out of the park with a $147,550 jackpot win on the final day of the FAST PLAY Home Run Riches Walk-Off Winnings game, capping off the end of the 2025 baseball season with a grand slam of their own.
The winning ticket was sold on October 1 at the 7-Eleven located at 3570 Crain Highway in Bowie. The store will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
The progressive jackpot game, priced at $5 per ticket, began at $40,000 and increased with every non-winning ticket sold statewide. The $147,550 win in Bowie marks the final jackpot of the season for the Home Run Riches FAST PLAY game, which also featured a popular second-chance promotion tied to the Baltimore Orioles’ regular season performance.
Throughout the season, players could enter their tickets into the My Lottery Rewards program for a chance to be selected as a Contestant of the Game. Each contestant won $500 automatically, plus additional prizes for every home run ($500) and grand slam ($5,000) hit by the Orioles during that game.
Over 162 games, the Orioles hit 191 home runs, including three grand slams, resulting in $190,000 in second-chance prizes awarded to fans.
With this latest jackpot, the FAST PLAY Home Run Riches game concludes its 2025 season. The lucky Bowie winner must claim the prize through Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore. For security, players are advised to sign the back of their ticket and schedule an appointment if claiming in person.
