Kingsville, MD – A Maryland resident and frequent lottery player, Kyle McCauley of Joppa, had his biggest Lottery win yet when he won a $30,048 prize playing Keno on a recent Sunday. The 33-year-old lottery enthusiast enjoys playing Keno with a family member at the Horseshoe Pub, located at 12627 Belair Road in Kingsville, and he has been using the same Keno numbers for 15 years.
Kyle placed a 7-spot bet for 10 drawings on the numbers 4, 7, 27, 43, 48, 52, and 68, adding the Bonus multiplier feature. In the fourth drawing, his numbers came up and the x4 Bonus multiplier quadrupled his prize. He told Lottery officials that the whole bar knew he had won a big prize, and he immediately called his aunt to share the exciting news.
Kyle is an auto mechanic by trade and plans to use his winnings to finish refurbishing an old truck in his spare time. The Horseshoe Pub, where Kyle purchased the winning ticket, will also receive a bonus of $300.48 from the Lottery for selling the winning Keno ticket, equal to 1% of the prize.
