Moped stolen in robbery on University Place NW as police search for two suspects
Washington, DC – A robbery in Northwest DC left one victim without his moped Monday night, as police search for two suspects who fled the scene and remain at large.
The crime occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on September 8 in the 2500 block of University Place NW. According to police, two suspects approached the victim, took his 2019 black Wolf Moped 50cc, and were last seen riding it near 14th and Clifton Street NW.
The first suspect is described as a Black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect is described as a Black male wearing a gray sweatshirt.
Metropolitan Police are actively investigating and urge the public not to approach the suspects if spotted.
