New Rochelle Charity Co-Founder Accused of Misappropriating Funds

WHITE PLAINS, NY – Christopher Greco, 52, co-founder of Christopher’s Voice, Inc., a New Rochelle-based charity for autistic children, has been recently charged with stealing approximately $24,000 from the organization.

The Westchester County District Attorney, Miriam E. Rocah, stated that the funds were allegedly used for personal expenses.

Greco, a former detective with the New Rochelle Police Department, was arrested on September 21. He was arraigned before Judge Matthew Costa in New Rochelle City Court on charges of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree. His next court appearance is set for October 25.

Between January 2018 and May of this year, Greco is accused of diverting funds intended for the charity for his personal use.

Assistant District Attorney Renee Hassel of the Public Integrity and Law Enforcement Integrity Bureau is prosecuting the case.
