NJ Lottery delivers again with two six-figure winners

Two NJ lottery players score big with $600K and $200K scratch-off wins

Trenton, NJ – A $30 scratch-off ticket purchased in Middlesex County turned into a $600,000 payday for one lucky New Jersey Lottery player over the weekend, while another player in Burlington County won $200,000 with a different game just days earlier.

The top prize-winning ticket came from the newly launched Crossword Xtreme Scratch-Off game. It was purchased at Milltown Convenience, located at 152 South Main Street in Milltown. The $600,000 prize is the first of three top prizes available in the game, which was introduced the week of January 12.

On Sunday, Jan. 19, a second major win was reported in Maple Shade, where a player picked up a $5 “Year of the Horse” ticket at BJ’s Wholesale Club on East Kings Highway and hit for $200,000. That game still has two of its three top prizes remaining.

From farm markets to classic bakeries, New Jersey offers some of the best homemade pies in the Northeast.

The New Jersey Lottery has contributed nearly $34.7 billion to state programs since its inception in 1970. Under a 30-year agreement signed into law in 2017, a significant portion of lottery profits supports the public employee pension system.

Officials have not released the identities of either winner.
