BALTIMORE, Md. — A non-verbal child believed to be between 12 and 14 years old was found alone Wednesday afternoon in Northeast Baltimore, prompting police to seek help in locating the child’s family.

The child was discovered around 12:08 p.m. in the 3500 block of Glenoak Avenue by Northeast District patrol officers, according to police.

Authorities are urging anyone who can identify the child or knows their family to call 911 or contact the Northeast District at 410-396-2444.

Police are working to reunite the child with their family as the investigation continues.
