NYPD arrests two for December double shooting, homicide

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department has arrested two individuals in connection with the shooting that took place on December 15, 2022, in front of 189 Burnside Avenue in the Bronx.

The incident resulted in the death of 32-year-old Gaston Johnny, who was shot in the head, and a 27-year-old male, who was shot in the groin.

According to police, Gibran Guerrero, a 19-year-old male from Eastburn Avenue, has been arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, manslaughter, assault, robbery, and criminal possession of a loaded firearm.

The police have also arrested Yorvin Gomez, a 26-year-old male from Davidson Avenue, and charged him with murder, manslaughter, and criminal possession of a loaded firearm.
