NYPD Continues Manhunt for Thankgiving Day Rape Suspect in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. — A 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted on Thanksgiving Day in the Bronx after meeting with an unidentified man, according to police.

The incident occurred around 3 p.m. near 1982 Westchester Avenue, where the victim had arranged to meet the man. Authorities say the man attacked her inside a red Honda CRV before fleeing the scene.

The New York City Police Department’s Bronx Special Victims Squad has launched an investigation into the assault. The man remains unidentified, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.

The NYPD released a photo of the suspect and the vehicle in an effort to gather leads. No further details about the victim or the suspect have been disclosed.

“The investigation is ongoing,” an NYPD spokesperson stated.
