NYPD Continues Search for Queens Hate Crime Suspect

QUEENS, NY – A 31-year-old male was assaulted in what the NYPD is investigating as a hate crime on August 27, in front of 79-01 Roosevelt Avenue. The assailants used anti-LGBTQIA+ language before physically attacking the victim.

The incident occurred at around midnight.

The victim suffered lacerations and swelling to the face and body and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.
