NYPD Investigating Assault and Robbery at East 176th Street Station

BRONX, NY — A robbery was reported at the East 176th Street station on the 4-train line early Monday, April 29. Around 1:48 AM, a 36-year-old male victim was attacked while exiting the station. An assailant, who approached from behind and was described as wearing an Amazon delivery vest, struck the victim in the face and stole his wallet before fleeing the scene.

Emergency Medical Services treated the victim for minor injuries at the location. He declined further medical attention. Authorities are currently seeking the unidentified male responsible for this crime.
